Responsibilities
- Develop high-integrity Rust software for safety-related and critical applications.
- Contribute expertise in software requirements, development, or testing.
- Apply relevant functional safety and industry standards to software projects.
- Support software development lifecycle activities for aerospace, defence, rail, automotive, energy, and critical infrastructure customers.
Requirements
- At least five years of software development lifecycle experience.
- At least two years of experience with Rust.
- Expertise in requirements, software development, or testing.
- Experience in at least one relevant market, including aerospace, transport, defence, rail, or automotive.
- Experience applying standards such as 61508, 50128, 26262, 00-55, ED-109, or DO-178.
- Strong organisation, prioritisation, attention to detail, logic, and reasoning skills.
- A degree in software engineering or a related subject is desirable.
- Knowledge and experience in static analysis techniques are desirable.
- Ability to obtain the required level of security clearance, including BPSS, Security Clearance, or Developed Vetting.
