Responsibilities

  • Develop high-integrity Rust software for safety-related and critical applications.
  • Contribute expertise in software requirements, development, or testing.
  • Apply relevant functional safety and industry standards to software projects.
  • Support software development lifecycle activities for aerospace, defence, rail, automotive, energy, and critical infrastructure customers.

Requirements

  • At least five years of software development lifecycle experience.
  • At least two years of experience with Rust.
  • Expertise in requirements, software development, or testing.
  • Experience in at least one relevant market, including aerospace, transport, defence, rail, or automotive.
  • Experience applying standards such as 61508, 50128, 26262, 00-55, ED-109, or DO-178.
  • Strong organisation, prioritisation, attention to detail, logic, and reasoning skills.
  • A degree in software engineering or a related subject is desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience in static analysis techniques are desirable.
  • Ability to obtain the required level of security clearance, including BPSS, Security Clearance, or Developed Vetting.
