Base Salary
$76k - $103k/yr
Responsibilities
- Document assigned business requirements and facilitate software application design discussions.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain application features using Java, Spring, React, and database technologies.
- Conduct code reviews, modify codebases, and maintain code repositories.
- Implement testing strategies, analyze results, coordinate bug fixes, and support software quality.
- Resolve production issues and recommend preventive strategies to improve system reliability.
- Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks.
- Maintain records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
Requirements
- Experience with Core Java, including object-oriented programming, collections, streams, concurrency, and exception handling.
- Experience designing microservices and REST APIs, including inter-service communication, resilience patterns, pagination, and error handling.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC; Struts experience is valued for legacy migrations.
- Experience with React functional components, hooks, basic state management, and routing is preferred.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JSPs, strong SQL, and at least one of Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution is required, with progressive specialty experience accepted in lieu of education.
- Candidates must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship.
