Responsibilities
- Develop, design, code, and enhance custom software solutions across systems and applications.
- Prepare technical design specifications and provide architectural direction for engineering initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance, platform convergence, reliability, scalability, and organizational health across initiatives.
- Lead design sessions, technical conversations, code reviews, and efforts to improve application quality and performance.
- Mentor development staff and help teams deliver product features while fostering learning and communication.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Translate AI innovation, automation, and engineering toolchain improvements into business and productivity impact.
Requirements
- At least 7.5 years of experience in .NET full-stack development or software development.
- A minimum of 15 years of full-time education.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Significant experience in architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling, and implementation or enhancement of software systems.
- Significant experience in analytical systems design and implementation.
- Fluency and specialization in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible APIs.
- Familiarity with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
- Proven experience with cloud, DevOps, or AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Preferred: fluency in DevOps concepts and experience with application monitoring tools and performance assessments.
- Preferred: understanding of security architecture, protocols, Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, and OAuth.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments.
