Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end API integration process from onboarding intake through production launch.
- Guide partners through setup and adoption of Yelp’s Leads API, Ads API, Conversions API, Reporting API, and Data Ingestion API.
- Gather platform details, coordinate test business setup, confirm account configurations, and align internal stakeholders before kickoff.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues within technical environments.
- Monitor integration health using SQL and internal dashboards, identifying adoption gaps, traffic anomalies, and performance issues.
- Collaborate with account teams and GTM leadership to identify technical opportunities, remove blockers, and accelerate API adoption.
- Surface recurring technical challenges and customer feedback to Yelp’s product and engineering teams.
- Maintain internal documentation, integration playbooks, tooling, and self-serve workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or a similar technical client-facing role.
- Hands-on experience supporting API integrations and understanding OAuth 2.0, API authentication patterns, rate limiting, webhooks, and common integration challenges.
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and collaborating across sales, product, and engineering teams.
- Ability to manage multiple partner integrations simultaneously, including enterprise and emerging partners.
- Experience building processes and workflows in environments where integration playbooks and tooling are still being formalized.
- Preferred familiarity with advertising or marketing APIs involving reporting, lead management, or campaign management.
- Preferred exposure to Zapier, Workato, or similar middleware and no-code/low-code integration tools.
- Preferred experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Copilot.
- Preferred experience coding in or working alongside teams using SQL, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
