Responsibilities
- Lead development and continuous improvement of internal tools for testing, automation, and process digitalization.
- Design and implement frontend and backend solutions integrated with Keonn’s cloud systems.
- Develop and maintain software that drives, automates, and logs functional testing of RFID hardware.
- Interface with Linux-based devices and physical test equipment.
- Migrate local and on-premise applications to secure cloud-hosted web services on AWS.
- Implement authentication, access control, data segregation, and secure deployment practices.
- Act as technical lead for operational tools, managing and mentoring at least one team member.
- Coordinate software improvements and timelines across Operations and Product Development.
- Identify operational bottlenecks and recommend technology improvements.
- Help select the technical stacks and development practices for internal operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional fullstack development experience.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, PHP, Python, and MariaDB.
- Experience managing and deploying applications with local or on-premise servers.
- Experience interacting with Linux-based hardware and using physical test tools and equipment.
- Proven ability or strong interest in taking project responsibility and mentoring junior colleagues.
- Experience with version control using GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
- Fluent Catalan and strong professional English, written and spoken.
- Ability to collaborate across departments, negotiate priorities, and manage expectations.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools with appropriate verification and judgment.
- Eligibility to work legally in Spain through permanent residency or free access to the job market.
- AWS deployment experience and familiarity with authentication, authorization, secrets management, TLS, and audit logging are valued but not essential.
