Responsibilities
- Design and deliver robust, scalable SAP S/4HANA backend components for cloud and on-premise environments.
- Translate functional requirements into technical designs and ensure integration with the overall architecture.
- Develop using ABAP, RAP, CDS, OData, SAP BTP, and extensibility approaches.
- Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems and contribute to cloud-ready, clean-core development.
- Provide accurate development estimates and collaborate with functional, architecture, and front-end colleagues.
- Guide colleagues by sharing backend development best practices.
- Help shape technical decisions and advise clients on backend design and development approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in IT, engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA backend development.
- Experience with ABAP/ABAP OO, RAP, CDS views, and OData services.
- Experience with SAP BTP or CAP-based extensions and SAP/non-SAP integration.
- Solid understanding of modern SAP development principles, including cloud-ready development and clean-core practices.
- Fluency in English and either Dutch or French.
