Responsibilities
- Embed with client engineering and business teams to deploy, scale, and operationalize AI platforms in enterprise environments.
- Own production outcomes including time-to-value, reliability, adoption velocity, scalability, and measurable business impact.
- Translate ambiguous business problems into working production systems through rapid experimentation.
- Design and govern enterprise AI architectures spanning identity, data, security, governance, platform layers, and workflow integration.
- Translate technical architectures into business value, use-case roadmaps, ROI backlogs, and AI adoption strategies.
- Build reusable patterns, playbooks, and accelerators that client teams can operate independently.
- Lead design workshops, proofs of concept, architecture walkthroughs, and code-with sessions.
- Codify deployment patterns and learnings to support the growth of the Forward Deployed Engineering practice.
Requirements
- Experience engineering cloud-native systems involving APIs, microservices, containerization, and serverless systems.
- Deep expertise designing and deploying production agentic solutions involving agents, orchestration, context engineering, RAG, and workflows.
- Experience with OpenAI, Claude, Vertex AI, and open-source models, including multi-provider abstraction layers.
- Experience with production deployment, CI/CD, infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm, monitoring, and debugging.
- Demonstrated end-to-end ownership of deployments in a client-embedded environment; internal-only projects and vendor labs do not qualify.
- Ability to quantify deployment impact in business terms relevant to CFO-level stakeholders.
- Experience presenting to and building trust with senior client stakeholders at the CTO, CFO, or CISO level.
- Non-linear career profiles are welcomed, with assessment based on demonstrated deployment experience and outcome ownership.
