Responsibilities
- Design and engineer enterprise-ready AI agents with retrieval, orchestration, policy-based routing, tool invocation, evaluation harnesses, and lifecycle observability.
- Translate AI behaviors into transparent, controllable, and accessible user experiences with product and experience designers.
- Build abstraction layers across Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, Google Vertex AI, and open-source models for portable multi-provider pipelines.
- Develop scalable AI-native systems using Kubernetes, Docker, serverless, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
- Own production delivery, including infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, debugging, incident response, and deployment.
- Partner with clients and internal stakeholders through workshops, design sprints, co-creation sessions, and technical advising.
- Define evaluation frameworks for agent accuracy, latency, cost, and safety, and document reusable architecture patterns and best practices.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience building cloud-native systems involving APIs, microservices, containerisation, and serverless architectures.
- Deep, production-proven expertise in agents, multi-agent orchestration, context engineering, RAG pipelines, and workflow automation.
- Hands-on experience with Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and Google Vertex AI, including integration across multiple providers.
- Strong programming skills in Python and at least one of Java, TypeScript, or C#.
- Experience with evaluation tooling, logging, agent observability, CI/CD, Terraform, Helm, monitoring, incident response, and debugging.
- Fluent English communication skills for workshops, executive presentations, and technical documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- AI certifications or demonstrated agentic tooling experience are advantageous.
- Experience with design systems, AI-powered user experiences, responsible AI principles, multiple industries, or shipped applications and agents is advantageous.
- German language skills are helpful but not mandatory.
