Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and debug kernel-mode changes in the NVIDIA software stack for next-generation hardware.
- Develop and support GPU and SoC system software and embedded software through the full development process into production.
- Work on emulation, hardware bring-up, product hardening, platform performance, power savings, and robustness.
- Support software for datacenter systems, desktops, notebooks, workstations, and gaming consoles.
- Collaborate with software and hardware teams globally on complex system-level interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant software development experience.
- Experience solving problems involving sophisticated systems deployed at scale.
- Strong C/C++ programming skills and evidence of independent coding projects.
- Familiarity with computer architecture, microprocessors, microcontrollers, caches, buses, memory controllers, and DMA.
- Strong operating systems fundamentals and kernel experience on Linux or Windows.
- System-level software and hardware debugging experience is preferred.
- Experience with Windows Driver Models, WDDM, MCDM, system-level security concepts, and system software concepts is preferred.
