Responsibilities
- Define and deliver data platform offerings across AWS.
- Build tooling and services for online storage platforms.
- Work cross-functionally to identify scalability gaps in data systems.
- Own key areas from the team's charter and execute plans to mitigate issues.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in data-intensive applications and distributed systems.
- Strong background in building platforms and tools for engineering teams.
- Expertise in online data storage systems in a high-scale environment.
- Proven track record of driving engineering initiatives with cross-team collaboration.
- Expertise in relational DBs, RocksDB, ElasticSearch, Redis, or Kafka.
- Strong desire to onboard and mentor other engineers.
