Base Salary
$258k - $367k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of conversational UIs and real-time, streaming, multi-modal generative experiences.
- Build agentic workflows and backend orchestration involving tool use, chains, and policy layers.
- Architect secure, zero-trust interfaces that convert natural-language inputs into authenticated financial operations.
- Coordinate AI initiative integrations across teams and global geographies while maintaining performance and extensibility.
- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of backend services, data pipelines, and frontend components.
- Partner with product leadership to identify high-impact intelligent automation opportunities.
- Mentor engineers and establish technical standards across Adyen’s ecosystem.
Requirements
- Experience partnering with product teams to turn ambiguous goals into robust technical solutions.
- Experience or deep technical interest in production-grade LLM-powered interfaces, including harnesses, policy enforcement, evaluations, RAG architectures, and secure data handling.
- Deep proficiency in Java for backend services and TypeScript with React or Vue for frontend applications.
- A security-by-design mindset focused on sensitive financial data and modern web environments.
- Ability to operate autonomously, collaborate across a large global organization, and mentor engineers.
