Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance the T Cloud Public cloud platform in a customer-oriented manner.
- Solve complex operational problems in a hyperscaler cloud backend.
- Perform hands-on, hardware-oriented infrastructure work at the console.
- Develop and operate monitoring and quality-assurance capabilities.
- Automate infrastructure and operational processes using common automation frameworks.
- Work collaboratively with a team of cloud, networking, and security specialists.
Requirements
- Completed studies in a technical, engineering, or scientific subject, or comparable professional training.
- At least six years of professional IT experience focused on securing Linux operating systems and modern cloud technologies.
- Very good knowledge of software-defined networks, routing, firewalls, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDoS, WAF, and physical networks.
- Extensive knowledge of infrastructure automation and strong experience with Linux, network-related services, and IT security.
- Strong customer focus and the ability to assess technical solutions and develop creative approaches.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of agile development processes.
- OpenStack knowledge and programming experience in open-source projects are a plus.
