Base Salary

$75k - $104k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement digital and process-control solutions for manufacturing plants.
  • Leverage programming, data analytics, automation, and controls hardware platforms to improve manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze process data and statistical information to identify optimization opportunities and design for process capability.
  • Lead cross-functional digital transformation and research, development, and engineering projects.
  • Transfer new process-control technologies and methodologies into manufacturing and train manufacturing and engineering personnel.
  • Document findings and implemented technologies in technical reports and functional specifications.
  • Generate intellectual property through invention disclosures and patent applications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • At least five years of manufacturing industry experience with automation and/or optimization project implementation.
  • Programming experience with Python, C#, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Programming-related experience with web development, .NET, Flask, Microsoft IIS, Visual Studio, and Git.
  • Analysis and reporting experience with SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Preferred experience with process data analysis, system modeling and identification, control-loop design and tuning, statistical analysis, Lean Optimization, and Six Sigma/DMAIC.
  • Preferred experience with ChatGPT and RAG implementations, machine vision, industrial cameras, and diverse process-control technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare and present proposals across multiple organizations.
