Responsibilities

  • Own the reliability, scaling, and end-to-end operation of high-scale Cortex production SaaS infrastructure on GCP.
  • Design and execute Terraform infrastructure automation for production and development environments.
  • Build Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and automated remediation tools.
  • Partner with development teams on distributed platform components, backend architecture, databases, HA, and disaster recovery.
  • Drive technical standards, platform efficiency, cost optimization, and cross-team processes.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation, troubleshoot production incidents, and lead customer-facing root cause analyses and post-mortem improvements.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps, Platform, or Site Reliability Engineering role managing high-scale production environments.
  • High proficiency with cloud infrastructure, preferably GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Strong software engineering skills with solid Python proficiency; Go is a plus.
  • Deep proficiency with Linux internals, troubleshooting, and system performance tuning.
  • Ability to lead complex technical designs, drive cross-functional projects, and communicate with R&D stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, high availability, disaster recovery, AI-enabled workflows, and cloud security tools or cybersecurity.
