Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software components for 5G and 6G physical-layer baseband products.
- Optimize software scalability, performance, and reliability for cloud-native platforms and COTS hardware.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, troubleshooting, and software quality activities.
- Deploy and optimize software in cloud environments and investigate cloud-native platform technologies.
- Apply AI/ML tools and techniques to accelerate development and explore intelligent automation.
- Collaborate with an international engineering team in an agile development environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Communications Systems, AI/ML, or a related field.
- Experience with software design and demonstrated embedded software design capability.
- Strong competence in C/C++.
- Some cloud development experience and familiarity with cloud platforms.
- Experience with Linux.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience deploying and optimizing software in cloud environments.
- Interest in AI and machine learning applied to software development and wireless systems; familiarity with AI tools is welcomed.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a diverse, international, multi-site team and take ownership of work.

- Salary range of CAD 85,000–111,300 in Ottawa, plus eligibility for an annual bonus.
