Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Product Security team to improve cybersecurity across Emerson’s product portfolio.
- Assist in developing and implementing secure coding practices.
- Support regulatory compliance efforts.
- Contribute to secure software and firmware development.
- Communicate findings and recommendations through written and verbal communication.
- Apply cybersecurity principles in a product-focused engineering environment.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- Zero years of applicable experience required.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, in person.
- Preferred: GPA of 3.0 or above and prior internship experience.
- Preferred: ABET-accredited degree in Computer, Electrical, or Software Engineering or Computer Science.
- Understanding of basic security concepts, including encryption, secure software development, and regulatory compliance.
- Student-level proficiency in a programming or scripting language such as C, C++, Python, or PowerShell.
