Base Salary
$140k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of healthcare analytics products and contribute to product strategy and roadmaps.
- Design, optimize, and maintain ETL processes for data transformation and data pipelines.
- Manage relational databases and support seamless technology integration.
- Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate analytics results and product value.
- Implement statistical and machine learning algorithms for healthcare data analysis.
- Measure the impact of analytics products on patient outcomes and client objectives.
- Optimize development workflows and guide technical decisions within the team and at client organizations.
- Collaborate with PhDs, engineers, product managers, and consultants in a cross-functional team.
- Mentor junior team members and stay current with relevant technology trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree focused on computer science, information systems, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of relevant software development experience and/or experience leading a project or team.
- Proven senior software engineering experience leading analytics products or similar products.
- Proficiency in relational database concepts, with MySQL preferred.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or equivalent languages.
- Experience maintaining data pipelines and databases.
- Solid understanding of web frameworks and ability to work autonomously.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based environment.
- Preferred qualifications include Scrum-based Agile development experience, Unix-like operating systems such as Linux, ETL design, large-scale data warehousing technologies and tools, and cloud services such as AWS.
- U.S. work authorization is required.
