Responsibilities
- Create risk-based test strategies, plans, scenarios, cases, test data, environments, entry and exit criteria, and requirements traceability.
- Perform manual functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, exploratory, API, and end-to-end testing across digital products and services.
- Build and maintain reusable automated UI, API, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests, including libraries, page objects, fixtures, utilities, and test data.
- Integrate automated tests and quality checks into delivery pipelines and improve automation reliability, coverage, execution speed, and maintainability.
- Validate user journeys, workflows, business rules, integrations, permissions, data handling, accessibility, usability, responsive behavior, cross-browser compatibility, performance, security, and operational readiness.
- Support UAT, production verification, early-life testing, defect triage, root-cause investigation, fix validation, and release-risk escalation.
- Analyze defect patterns, escaped defects, automation results, and quality trends, and contribute to retrospectives and continuous improvement.
- Maintain test documentation, evidence, dashboards, and reusable knowledge assets while collaborating with product, analysis, design, development, operations, security, privacy, business, and supplier teams.
Requirements
- Experience testing digital products, web platforms, CMS solutions, APIs, integrations, or cloud-based services using manual and automated approaches.
- Understanding of test design techniques, exploratory testing, regression testing, defect management, and requirements traceability.
- Hands-on experience developing and maintaining UI and API automation with tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, Postman, or equivalent.
- Coding or scripting experience in TypeScript, JavaScript, Java, Python, or a comparable language, with Git-based version control.
- Experience integrating automated testing into Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or comparable CI/CD platforms.
- Understanding of accessibility, responsive, cross-browser, performance, security, and operational-readiness testing.
- Experience working in Agile teams and collaborating with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineers, and suppliers.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make evidence-based quality recommendations.
