Responsibilities
- Design and develop complete features across React Native applications and backend services.
- Build mobile experiences using React Native and TypeScript.
- Design and implement backend services, APIs, business logic, integrations, and data models.
- Develop asynchronous processes using queues, events, scheduled jobs, and background workers.
- Build reusable capabilities for multiple products, customers, and white-label applications.
- Work on authentication, authorization, payments, ordering, loyalty, and customer-engagement flows.
- Own features from technical design and implementation through deployment and production operation.
- Design and operate scalable, reliable, secure, and cost-conscious cloud services.
- Write automated tests across mobile and backend components.
- Monitor production systems and troubleshoot application, service, database, infrastructure, and integration issues.
- Work with containers, deployment pipelines, configuration, logging, monitoring, tracing, alerting, and observability tools.
- Participate in code reviews and architectural decisions.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and mentor other developers.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software-development experience.
- Production experience delivering features across frontend or mobile and backend systems.
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript development.
- Production experience with React Native.
- Experience developing backend services and APIs using Node.js, .NET, or a comparable modern backend stack.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or another major cloud platform.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating cloud-based production services.
- Experience designing APIs and service-to-service integrations.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases and practical data modeling.
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure data handling.
- Familiarity with asynchronous processing, queues, background jobs, and event-driven systems.
- Practical experience with containers, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and production deployments.
- Ability to independently understand business requirements, design solutions, and deliver across the full stack.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with guidance and mentoring abilities.
- Nice-to-have experience with white-label or multi-brand applications, native iOS or Android development, distributed systems or microservices, payment, ordering, loyalty or commerce platforms, large-scale systems, and AI coding agents.
