Base Salary
$190k - $252k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-target tracking, track fusion, and discrimination algorithms for air and missile threats.
- Develop real-time software that processes radar sensor data and tracks dozens to hundreds of simultaneous targets.
- Build and use modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and quantify system capabilities.
- Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems.
- Optimize tracking software for performance-critical environments.
- Explain technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, program leadership, and customers.
- Participate in customer demonstrations and field tests to support successful deployment and operational effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Eight years of relevant experience.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python.
- Foundation in linear algebra, probability, statistics, and/or differential equations.
- Understanding of software engineering fundamentals including design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance.
- Experience with tracking, estimation, filtering, controls, digital signal processing, radar systems, sensor fusion, high-performance computing, machine learning, databases, web development, or modeling and simulation is desired.
- Active U.S. Top Secret SCI clearance is desired.
