Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance C++ trading applications on Linux.
- Architect scalable, robust, and low-latency software systems for performance-critical trading environments.
- Perform code reviews, debugging, profiling, optimization, and performance tuning.
- Collaborate with FPGA engineers, DevOps professionals, system administrators, network engineers, and other software engineers.
- Lead and contribute to architectural discussions aligned with business and technology goals.
- Mentor team members and improve software development practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience with modern C++ including C++11, C++14, C++17, or C++20.
- Experience developing multithreaded, high-performance applications on Linux.
- Demonstrated system-level architecture experience in trading or other performance-critical environments.
- Extensive experience with low-latency optimization, profiling, and performance tuning.
- Previous experience as a people manager or technical lead, including leading engineers across projects.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-disciplinary technical teams.
- Familiarity with advanced debugging tools and performance analysis techniques.
- Understanding of financial products and trading systems is preferred.
