Responsibilities
- Design and build Android applications using Kotlin and gateway services.
- Discover, evaluate, and implement technologies that improve development efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, SDET teams, and cross-functional partners to define, design, and ship features.
- Own delivered features, perform root-cause analyses, and quickly resolve relevant production bugs.
- Train Tech Support Engineers to handle recurring support issues.
- Develop scalable solutions based on product specifications and estimates.
- Unit-test code for robustness, usability, edge cases, and reliability.
- Apply software engineering lifecycle and coding best practices.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of software engineering and product delivery experience.
- At least 3 years of Android development experience with Kotlin.
- Experience working with Product Managers and UX Designers, with strong product sense and ownership of product design and usability.
- Strong teamwork, flexibility, multitasking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Ability to apply software engineering lifecycle best practices.
- Experience executing root-cause analyses and resolving difficult engineering problems.
- Evidence of going above and beyond, such as awards or recognition from upper management.
- Open-source or personal project contributions.
