Responsibilities
- Operate scalable, high-performance data platforms used by traders and researchers.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and research teams across Dublin, London, and global offices.
- Support live technical challenges, platform improvements, and production issues.
- Help understand and contribute to the progression of data systems from specification through production.
- Participate in technical training, classroom discussions, and industry lectures.
Requirements
- Be studying a STEM-related degree at an Irish university.
- Be required to complete a work placement as part of the course.
- Have some Python scripting experience.
- Have familiarity with data libraries such as Pandas and NumPy.
- Exposure to Linux environments and Airflow is a plus.
- Demonstrate sound reasoning, problem-solving ability, curiosity, communication skills, and an interest in quantitative trading and financial markets.
- Be legally eligible to work in Ireland.
