$164k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain user-facing features in React Native mobile apps across iOS and Android.
- Design and implement performant, maintainable, and scalable mobile components.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to scope and launch features.
- Contribute to platform improvements including tooling and performance monitoring.
- Work with backend engineers to define mobile-specific APIs.
- Identify and resolve performance or reliability issues in the mobile experience.
- Participate in code reviews and technical planning to enhance engineering quality.
- Support a strong mobile engineering culture through mentorship and collaboration.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional software development experience with production mobile apps.
- Experience building in React Native and familiarity with at least one native platform.
- Understanding of mobile performance, memory management, and platform constraints.
- Effective communication with cross-functional partners in product, design, and engineering.
- Ownership of work and comfort in delivering complex features from planning to release.
- Ability to balance speed and quality while advocating for maintainable solutions.
- Contribution to team culture and engineering practices through feedback and mentoring.
