Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and test software deployed in a cloud environment for managing Shure devices and supporting system functionality.
  • Specify software components for Shure systems and contribute to cross-functional development of audio products and technologies.
  • Estimate, organize, and document tasks while applying software design principles such as reusability, maintainability, separation of concerns, and low coupling.
  • Model designs and real-time system behavior using UML and use cases.
  • Review peer engineers’ designs and code and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or holding a BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Cloud software development experience, preferably with AWS and serverless cloud environments.
  • Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Angular or a similar front-end application framework, and serverless database software.
  • Experience defining, implementing, and testing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
  • Experience with AWS API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and Kinesis.
  • Experience with Git software version control and release processes.
  • Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, attention-to-detail, and quality-focused skills, with the ability to lead junior engineers.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted software development life cycles is preferred.
