Frontend Automation QA Engineer

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain frontend end-to-end Playwright test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Validate functionality and UI/UX integrity across modern browsers, responsive layouts, and screen resolutions.
- Perform manual exploration and automated regression testing to identify frontend bugs, flaky UI states, accessibility issues, and broken user journeys.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers and Product Managers to develop testing strategies and plans.
- Troubleshoot issues in production and staging environments.
- Conduct post-release and post-implementation regression, accessibility, and integration testing for frontend systems.
Requirements
- Proven experience building robust Playwright web automation frameworks for reliable end-to-end and cross-browser testing.
- Experience integrating Playwright suites into build pipelines, including parallel execution, reporting, trace and video capture, and flaky-test management.
- Strong JavaScript or TypeScript programming skills for building maintainable test frameworks and utilities.
- Experience with build and configuration tools such as GitHub Actions and CircleCI.
- Strong understanding of responsive behavior, accessibility, browser compatibility, loading states, and visual consistency.
- Excellent spoken and written English, a product mindset, rigorous attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes React, Next.js, Vue, Angular, backend services, BDD, Cucumber, accessibility testing, visual regression testing, performance testing, or Agentic AI workflows for testing.
