Base Salary
$176k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver critical software solutions across multiple technical domains.
- Write secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by other engineers.
- Identify opportunities to automate recurring issue remediation and improve application and system stability.
- Lead evaluations of external vendors, startups, internal teams, and architectural designs.
- Lead software engineering communities of practice and promote adoption of emerging technologies.
- Provide technical guidance to junior software engineers and contribute to an inclusive team culture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 7+ years of applied experience.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Advanced Python coding skills and experience coding in Java.
- Proficiency in automation, continuous delivery methods, and all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Advanced understanding of application resiliency, security, and agile software development practices.
- Proficiency in software applications and technical processes within a discipline such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile technology.
- In-depth knowledge of financial services industry IT systems and practical cloud-native experience.
- Preferred: AWS cloud experience, Databricks experience, and LLM engineering experience.
