AI Labs Summer Internship, Emerging Talent
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Spend 12 weeks embedded in one AI Labs discipline and contribute to projects solving technical, product, or customer challenges.
- Use AI-native development tools, AI agents, and emerging technologies to experiment, develop, and solve problems.
- Collaborate with interns across Build, Shape, Deliver, and Transform on a cross-functional capstone project.
- Own assigned work from problem definition and experimentation through development and delivery with guidance from AI Labs leaders.
- Present the capstone solution, approach, and impact at an in-person Demo Day to an executive panel.
- Participate in mentorship, workshops, and cohort experiences with engineering, product, FDE, and DET teams.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
- Expected graduation between December 2027 and June 2028.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, software engineering, and technical problem-solving.
- Practical software development experience through academic projects, research, internships, or independent technical projects.
- Proficiency in Python and experience building software, AI, or machine learning applications.
- Understanding of core AI and machine learning concepts and experience using modern AI development tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.
- Preferred qualifications include a portfolio of software or AI applications, prior experience in software engineering, data engineering, machine learning, product development, or solutions architecture, cross-functional experience, and exposure to cloud infrastructure, Spark, SQL, or MLOps pipelines.
