Software Engineering SMTS (Backend - Distributed Systems)
InformaticaResponsibilities
- Design and build secure, well-tested secrets-management features and multi-cloud Infrastructure as Code deployments.
- Build and operate highly available, resilient Tier 0 services while participating in on-call and debugging distributed-systems issues.
- Implement cryptographic and zero-trust identity features involving PKI, X.509, dynamic secret generation, key rotation, device identity, and zero-trust authentication.
- Develop secure secret-distribution and credential-delivery capabilities across heterogeneous networks with strict access controls.
- Provide code reviews, improve test coverage and tooling, and mentor junior engineers.
- Use AI development tools, advanced prompt engineering, and shared system context to produce secure, reliable, production-grade software.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on software development experience at a product-based software technology company.
- 3+ years of development experience in public cloud environments, with AWS preferred and GCP a plus.
- Strong hands-on programming expertise in Golang, Java, C#, Python, Rust, or C/C++.
- Experience building highly available, scalable services backed by relational and NoSQL databases.
- Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, container orchestration, cloud computing, and distributed networking.
- Applied knowledge of cloud security design, secrets management, PKI/X.509, and OWASP principles.
- Ability to design and deliver well-architected components and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience using AI tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor in development workflows.
- Advanced prompt-engineering skills and the ability to cultivate reliable system context for AI-generated outputs.
