Responsibilities
- Design and build native user experiences for the Docusign Android app using Kotlin.
- Write maintainable code and unit tests to support application performance and stability.
- Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA, and backend engineers to implement features.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and performance bottlenecks.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily standups, and code reviews.
- Stay current with Android features, Jetpack tools, and Google platform updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- At least 1 year of experience writing native Android applications in Kotlin.
- Experience with the Android application lifecycle, data persistence, network communication with RESTful APIs, and Git version control.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum team environment.
- Preferred: a personal or professional app published in the Google Play Store.
- Preferred: familiarity with Jetpack Compose and traditional layout architectures.
- Preferred: understanding of MVVM and Android Jetpack components.
- Preferred: exposure to automated testing with JUnit or Espresso.
- Preferred: knowledge of high-quality UI/UX and Material Design guidelines.
