Base Salary
$192k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive the Paid MarTech team’s technical roadmap and make architectural decisions for reusable, scalable systems.
- Improve developer productivity through process evolution, tooling, abstractions, and code-quality improvements.
- Lead team-wide and cross-team initiatives while partnering with senior Product and Marketing leaders on strategic and technical decisions.
- Advance observability, resilience, chaos engineering, disaster recovery, cost optimization, and security-by-design practices.
- Mentor engineers up to L5 and resolve organizational or cross-team execution blockers.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of software engineering experience leading technical roadmaps and team-level architectural decisions.
- Expert-level Python proficiency and experience designing reusable abstractions, frameworks, and patterns adopted across multiple projects.
- Deep knowledge of scalable, high-throughput systems with observability, cost-efficiency, and security considerations.
- Experience influencing product roadmaps and identifying strategic technical opportunities with senior Product and Marketing leaders.
- Demonstrated success improving team productivity through process improvements, tooling, mentorship, and technical leadership.
- Strong communication and influence skills for driving cross-team and cross-functional initiatives.
- Preferred experience includes AI-assisted development infrastructure, ad tech and marketing technology ecosystems, legacy modernization, technical debt management, coding standards, architectural patterns, technical reviews, crisis support, and external cross-pillar collaboration.
