Responsibilities
- Build, improve, and automate CI/CD workflows for application and infrastructure delivery.
- Deploy and operate scalable services using cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes.
- Develop automation with Python, Go, Bash, APIs, Infrastructure as Code, and AI-assisted engineering tools.
- Convert repetitive operational work into reliable automation or self-service capabilities.
- Explore AI, LLMs, agents, and intelligent automation for troubleshooting, observability, incident response, infrastructure management, and developer productivity.
- Research emerging technologies and open-source projects, build proof-of-concepts, and present recommendations.
- Build and maintain infrastructure with Terraform and other Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
- Improve observability using metrics, logs, traces, dashboards, and intelligent operational-data analysis.
- Integrate vulnerability scanning, dependency management, secrets management, policy enforcement, and secure engineering practices into software delivery.
- Troubleshoot production and platform issues and implement permanent engineering improvements.
- Contribute to platform documentation, architecture discussions, engineering standards, and reusable automation.
- Collaborate with application, security, SRE, platform, and AI/ML engineering teams.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Approximately 2–6 years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, software engineering, or a related area.
- Understanding of Linux, networking, cloud infrastructure, containers, and software delivery fundamentals.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Kubernetes and container technologies, or strong demonstrated interest in developing deeper expertise.
- Experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and technologies.
- Ability to write useful automation using Python, Go, Bash, or another programming or scripting language.
- Understanding of source control and modern software development practices.
- Basic understanding of application, infrastructure, container, or software supply-chain security.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, or observability technologies.
