Base Salary
$87k - $198k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, edit, and optimize embedded software for mission-critical client systems, sites, tools, and devices.
- Develop and reverse engineer software supporting hardware functionality across a range of devices.
- Create software tools, scripts, or plugins that support reverse engineering and analysis workflows.
- Configure solutions for the platform being used and troubleshoot operational issues with team leaders.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists to help ensure created software is secure.
Requirements
- Experience with reverse engineering tools such as IDA Pro or Ghidra.
- Experience with AI- or LLM-powered developer tools, including chat-based interfaces or automated coding agents.
- Experience developing software tools, scripts, or plugins for analysis workflows.
- Experience with at least one scripting or programming language commonly used in reverse engineering workflows.
- Knowledge of low-level software concepts including assembly, binaries, memory, and calling conventions.
- TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
- Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of software engineering experience, or 16+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
- Preferred: experience reverse engineering Linux-based network devices or embedded systems, analyzing firmware and bootloaders, working with networking protocols, applying automation or AI to reverse engineering, and using Python or similar reverse engineering scripting languages.
