Base Salary

$71k - $141k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain performant, accessible, maintainable front-end solutions using React and Astro.
  • Deliver sprint stories from branch through production, including implementation, documentation, testing, and adherence to the team's definition of done.
  • Implement and extend content-driven web experiences using headless CMS architecture, particularly Contentstack.
  • Make independent implementation decisions, identify technical risks, and escalate architectural questions appropriately.
  • Write unit, integration, and basic end-to-end tests and maintain meaningful test coverage.
  • Participate substantively in pull request reviews and contribute to code quality, documentation, and technical debt awareness.
  • Collaborate with UX Designers, Product Owners, internal Scrum teams, stakeholders, external vendors, and other developers.
  • Participate in sprint planning, standups, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Stay current with the JavaScript ecosystem and contribute to technical recommendations and shared team knowledge.

Requirements

  • At least seven years of professional web development experience with a strong front-end foundation.
  • Deep proficiency in modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
  • Hands-on production experience with React, including component architecture, state management, hooks, and performance considerations.
  • Experience with Astro or comparable static-site or hybrid-rendering frameworks such as Next.js, Nuxt, or SvelteKit.
  • Experience with headless CMS platforms such as Contentstack, Contentful, or Sanity.
  • Strong Git proficiency, including branching strategies, pull request workflows, rebasing, and collaborative development.
  • Experience delivering accessible, performant, and cross-browser-compatible production web experiences meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
  • Experience with build tooling and the front-end ecosystem, including Vite, Webpack, npm or yarn, linting, formatting, and CI integration.
  • Ability to write and maintain unit, integration, and basic end-to-end test coverage.
  • Strong engineering communication, including articulating tradeoffs, documenting decisions, and providing useful code review feedback.
  • Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Preferred: production TypeScript experience, web performance optimization, Contentstack content modeling and APIs, familiarity with Epic, Kyruus, Coveo, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, regulated-environment experience, and CI/CD deployment ownership.
