Base Salary
$112k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own full-stack features through problem definition, design, implementation, release, measurement, and iteration.
- Design and implement front-end solutions using Next.js or React with a NestJS GraphQL integration layer.
- Design and implement back-end solutions using .NET/C# and NestJS GraphQL.
- Architect, deploy, and operate applications on AWS and Amazon EKS through CI/CD pipelines.
- Use AI tools and agentic development workflows to improve engineering speed and quality.
- Partner with product, design, data, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous needs into technical solutions.
- Contribute to architecture and technical strategy decisions.
- Collaborate across distributed engineering teams, including partners in India.
- Mentor engineers and improve team engineering practices.
- Potentially participate in an on-call rotation supporting production systems, including nights and weekends.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience building production full-stack software across front end and back end.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js or React and a NestJS GraphQL integration layer.
- Hands-on experience with .NET/C# and NestJS GraphQL.
- Experience designing, deploying, and operating applications on AWS with Amazon EKS/Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of software design, system architecture, testing, observability, and maintainability.
- Ability to solve ambiguous problems and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Preferred: strong hands-on use of AI tools, AI coding agents, AI-assisted reviews, prompt-driven development, or multi-agent workflows.
- Preferred: experience with automated testing, production operations, greenfield or rapidly evolving products, and fintech, financial services, or mortgage servicing.
- Preferred: demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence engineering practices.
