Base Salary
$142k - $196k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable backend systems and data pipelines for audience segmentation and marketing attribution workflows.
- Partner with product managers, marketers, and engineers to deliver data solutions supporting customer acquisition and conversion.
- Extend data infrastructure for increasing data volumes, evolving requirements, and new integrations.
- Implement monitoring, validation, and guardrail mechanisms to improve data quality across critical datasets.
- Participate in architecture, access-pattern, and platform-scalability discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus at least three years of software engineering experience.
- At least three years of experience building and maintaining backend distributed systems or large-scale data platforms.
- Production experience with data processing systems, databases, or data pipelines.
- Experience implementing fault tolerance, monitoring, and observability practices for backend systems.
- Experience collaborating with engineering, product, or business stakeholders to deliver technical solutions.
- Knowledge of data modeling and schema design for large-scale data systems is preferred.
- Experience with marketing technology, attribution, or customer segmentation platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and PII security considerations is preferred.
- Ability to balance short-term feature delivery with long-term platform maintainability and scalability is preferred.
- Experience contributing to architecture discussions and improving engineering practices across teams is preferred.
