Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build highly available, high-performance distributed systems at massive scale.
- Build infrastructure for Azure Cosmos DB Gateway applications.
- Develop request routing, connection management, networking, caching, load balancing, resource management, reliability, and performance optimization capabilities.
- Design architectures, standards, methods, and reusable service libraries for large-scale distributed systems.
- Collaborate with internal and external Azure Cosmos DB partners on features that drive service growth.
- Pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with one or more of C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Preferred experience working on large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
