Responsibilities
- Holistically own and lead major workstreams from inception to launch.
- Influence the team's direction and roadmap with technical vision and product sense.
- Produce high-quality technical artifacts like design docs and runbooks.
- Contribute high-quality code and conduct code reviews.
- Participate in on-call rotations and address production issues.
- Mentor other engineers and drive team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to achieve unified product development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong sense of ownership and entrepreneurial spirit.
- Collaborative mindset to work with engineers, designers, and PMs.
- Expertise in one or more backend languages (e.g., Ruby, Java, Python).
- Strong technical writing skills for creating design docs.
- Solid communication skills for seeking and receiving feedback.
- Strong analytical and debugging skills.
- Attention to detail in coding implementation.
- Strong organizational skills to influence stakeholders.
