Responsibilities
- Write, review, and ship production code across iOS/iPadOS, Android, or Electron/Angular.
- Design and build end-to-end features from technical approach through implementation, testing, and release.
- Build and maintain high-performance 2D graphics editing and rendering capabilities for creative, design-focused features.
- Optimize application startup time, memory usage, responsiveness, rendering, battery life, and network efficiency.
- Implement secure authentication, encryption, certificate validation, and credential/key management.
- Write automated unit, integration, UI, and end-to-end tests.
- Drive CI/CD automation, release quality, deployment, feature flags, progressive rollouts, and kill-switches.
- Own release health through telemetry, including crash-free rates, performance budgets, and defect trends.
- Collaborate with Product Management and UX to assess feasibility, define scope, and ship features.
- Participate in code reviews, share knowledge, and evaluate emerging platform, AI, and tooling technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of professional client/frontend software development experience.
- Deep production-level expertise in iOS, Android, or Electron/Angular.
- Hands-on experience with platform-relevant graphics and rendering technologies.
- At least one year of pragmatic experience using modern AI engineering tools and integrating AI/LLM capabilities where relevant.
- Expert proficiency in Swift, Kotlin, or TypeScript, matching the primary platform.
- Strong expertise in SwiftUI/UIKit, Jetpack Compose, or Electron/Angular.
- Strong understanding of Swift Concurrency, Kotlin Coroutines/Flow, or modern asynchronous JavaScript/RxJS.
- Experience with MVVM, Clean Architecture, MVI, or component-based architecture.
- Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, application telemetry, performance profiling, and secure credential storage.
- Strong debugging, performance optimization, communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing skills.
