Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure across production and non-production environments.
- Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code for repeatable, auditable, and scalable deployments.
- Operate and evolve cloud platforms with focus on availability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment workflows.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure and platform issues and participate in incident response and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with application, SRE, and security teams to ensure systems are cloud-ready and operationally sound.
- Contribute to cloud governance covering access control, networking, monitoring, and compliance standards.
- Document architectures and operational procedures through diagrams and runbooks.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with public cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Solid knowledge of Linux-based systems, system troubleshooting, and cloud networking fundamentals including VPC/VNet, routing, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, preferably Terraform, or CloudFormation, ARM, Pulumi, or Ansible.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including Kubernetes Custom Resource Definitions.
- Familiarity with Envoy as an API Gateway and service networking technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Splunk.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of Go (Golang).
- Experience operating production cloud environments with defined SLAs and operational processes.
- Ability to handle cloud incidents, performance issues, and infrastructure failures in a structured manner.
- Strong documentation skills and ability to balance engineering decisions with operational, security, and cost considerations.
