Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy proprietary software solutions across the firm.
- Build exchange-data decoders, normalizers that construct instrument order books, and applications supporting communication with the compliance team.
- Identify and advocate for innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Conduct data-driven research and statistical analytics on large datasets.
- Collaborate with software developers, quantitative traders, researchers, and business analysts in cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, physics, mathematics, or a related science discipline.
- Expected graduation date between December 2027 and August 2028.
- Exposure to network programming using TCP/IP, multithreaded applications, computational intelligence, algorithms, real-time programming, or GUI programming.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong software development skills in C++, Python, Java, C#, or C, with curiosity to learn new technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical reasoning, communication, and collaboration skills.
