Responsibilities

  • Interpret designs and convert them into usable features in the thinkorswim Android application.
  • Perform bug fixes, code maintenance, testing, debugging, and documentation.
  • Analyze technical problems, recommend solutions, and collaborate with business analysts and senior developers.
  • Implement and maintain application software throughout the full software lifecycle.
  • Work with asynchronous, non-blocking interactions and resolve mobile security issues.
  • Troubleshoot live applications, address QA and compliance challenges, and apply software development best practices.
  • Consolidate software changes into secure, stable releases and align systems with cloud architectures.
  • Monitor and address security policy violations and execute strategies to restore services and address disruptions.

Requirements

  • Good understanding of socket-based connectivity and the Mobtr protocol.
  • Good understanding of the TOS Mobile charting library.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using best practices for live applications.
  • Ability to prioritize compliance, security, and scalability of data systems.
  • Ability to validate requirements, resolve software design challenges, and build, test, and validate software components.
  • Preferred qualifications include in-depth analysis, stakeholder communication, market analysis, process improvement, decision-making, confident presentation, persuasive communication, specialized expertise, and strong business writing.
