Responsibilities

Design, develop, and own data pipelines, models, and products for Stripe’s Growth, Sales, and Marketing teams.
Manage SLAs for data pipelines and full stack web applications supporting Growth & Go-to-Market organizations.
Build and refine data infrastructure, pipelines, and tools using Scala, Spark, and Airflow.
Design and build client libraries to log events and track user behavior on interfaces like Stripe.com.
Refine existing data marts to help Sales and Marketing forecast performance and measure targets.
Build data services to track key GTM product metrics and assess the impact of GTM strategies.

3+ years of experience in a Software Engineering role focused on data services or data-intensive applications.
Strong engineering background with an interest in data.
Experience writing and debugging data pipelines using distributed data frameworks like Spark.
Ability to investigate data inconsistencies and resolve data quality issues.
Knowledge of backend development languages such as Scala, Java, or Go, and strong SQL skills.
Effective cross-functional communication skills to derive requirements and architect shared datasets.
