Responsibilities
- Analyze developer workflows across planning, coding, testing, CI/CD, deployment, and operations, and identify AI-driven improvements.
- Design, build, assess, and deploy AI-powered developer productivity solutions, agents, copilots, RAG systems, and knowledge retrieval capabilities.
- Integrate AI capabilities with GitHub, GitLab, Jira, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and IDE platforms.
- Embed Application Security controls, secure coding guidance, and guardrails into AI-generated code, AI agents, and developer workflows.
- Integrate SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets detection, IaC scanning, and container security into AI solutions.
- Evaluate and mitigate risks associated with LLMs, AI agents, and autonomous software development.
- Develop production-grade applications, APIs, services, integrations, agentic workflows, and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Use large-scale datasets and telemetry to generate engineering insights and influence enterprise AI strategy.
- Collaborate with Product Security, Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps, Developer Experience, business units, and technical leadership.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering, security engineering, or related experience.
- 3+ years developing AI, ML, or GenAI solutions in enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience with developer platforms and modern software delivery practices.
- Prior experience in Application Security, Product Security, DevSecOps, or Secure SDLC programs.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Go.
- Experience with LLM platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar.
- Expertise with AI agent frameworks, orchestration platforms, vector databases, embeddings, RAG architectures, and knowledge retrieval systems.
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, and cloud-native architectures, with experience in Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Deep understanding of Secure SDLC, Threat Modeling, OWASP Top 10, SAST, DAST, IAST, Software Composition Analysis, Secrets Management, and secure coding practices.
- Ability to review code and identify security vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with Checkmarx, Veracode, Fortify, Snyk, GitHub Advanced Security, Semgrep, SonarQube, or similar security tools.
- Experience developing applications using C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server is required by the role description.
