Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain systems for speech-backed visual Alexa experiences on screened devices.
- Build Android-based customer experiences and work on device frameworks, web services, APIs, and large-scale data infrastructure.
- Partner with UX and product owners to define customer experiences and product direction.
- Collaborate with Amazon, third-party service, and device teams.
- Deliver low-latency, reliable software at Amazon scale through coding, testing, and operations practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 4+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: 4+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
