Base Salary
$135k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design Salesforce solution recommendations and modernization roadmaps using standard and customized Salesforce capabilities.
- Architect Salesforce solutions, models, blueprints, and integrations for business requirements.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Document, maintain, and govern Salesforce solutions throughout their lifecycles.
- Coordinate architecture reviews and ensure scalability, maintainability, security, accessibility, ATO compliance, and alignment with Department of State standards.
- Present technical solutions, tradeoffs, and limitations to customers and stakeholders.
- Provide technical leadership and collaborate with delivery managers, solution architects, development, DevSecOps, and security teams.
- Monitor testing, performance, security, and business requirements across the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience or master’s degree with 10 years of experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce implementation experience designing scalable technical solutions with end-to-end integration requirements.
- At least 3 years of experience serving as an architect on large-scale Salesforce implementations.
- Experience designing high-performance Salesforce solutions and addressing Salesforce security and data integration complexities.
- Experience meeting ATO security requirements, Section 508 accessibility requirements, and federal compliance standards.
- Experience presenting and communicating technical solutions to clients from inception through implementation.
- US citizenship is required.
- Active Secret or higher clearance is required; interim Secret or Top Secret clearances are acceptable.
- Preferred experience includes full-lifecycle Salesforce implementations using Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Preferred experience includes secure Salesforce integrations, microservices, event-driven patterns, scalable Apex development, Agile delivery support, public-facing applications aligned with USWDS and federal UX standards, and Salesforce Certified Technical Architect certification.

- The position is located in Herndon, Virginia.
- The stated base salary range is $135,000 to $216,000; employees may also be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus.
