Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate end-to-end cloud, hybrid, and on-premise integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
- Build modular, reusable, enterprise-scale iFlows with routing, splitting, gathering, message mapping, and data transformation patterns.
- Use Groovy scripting for transformation, enrichment, validation, conditional execution, performance tuning, and maintainability improvements.
- Design APIs and connector-based integrations with security, authentication, throttling, versioning, monitoring, and event-driven messaging capabilities.
- Build AI-native integration agents, retrieval-grounded recommendations, automated iFlow and mapping generation, anomaly detection, predictive operations, and conversational troubleshooting with human oversight.
- Create automated integration tests, payload regression suites, replay tests, API verification, AI evaluation harnesses, and release gates.
- Establish monitoring, alerting, traceability, correlation IDs, structured logging, and failure-mode analysis for integrations and APIs.
- Define integration strategies, governance practices, maturity assessments, standardized patterns, and modernization approaches.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite, including cloud integration, iFlows, transformation patterns, and monitoring.
- Experience implementing message mappings, routing patterns, and transformations for JSON, XML, CSV, and other enterprise data formats.
- Practical Groovy scripting experience for advanced integration customization and performance tuning.
- Solid API design and management fundamentals, including security, throttling, lifecycle/versioning, and observability.
- Experience with retrieval-grounded outputs, tool-augmented workflows, measurable AI evaluation loops, guardrails, and safe action boundaries.
- Knowledge of event-driven integration, enterprise messaging, connector-based SaaS integrations, integration governance, and legacy-platform modernization is strongly beneficial.
