Responsibilities
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and scalable, sustainable solution designs.
- Develop, configure, implement, test, patch, deploy, and support OpenLink Endur and related software solutions.
- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, coding, testing, implementation, and production support.
- Pilot and prototype new solutions and technologies, including procurement, setup, development, demonstrations, and deployment.
- Work with third-party suppliers on change requests, software patches and upgrades, deployment, post-deployment validation, and business acceptance.
- Manage defect fixes, enhancements, special projects, requirements traceability, release activities, and multiple delivery priorities.
- Build relationships with business stakeholders and users and participate in local and global IT community activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 3 to 7 years of corporate IT experience focused on ETRM or CTRM.
- Functional and technical experience with OpenLink Endur version 11 or later, including JVS or OpenComponents development.
- Intermediate experience providing application support and development in a corporate setting.
- Full lifecycle development experience in a project development role and experience supporting diverse application landscapes.
- Experience with change management, application testing, data integrity management, patch management, and end-user support and training.
- Energy or commodity trading and risk management domain experience, including trade capture, risk management, scheduling and operations, or settlements and accounting.
- Experience developing solutions with Java and .NET and with Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL, and Informatica.
- In-depth knowledge of the Endur database schema, SQL writing and tuning, JVS and OpenComponents memory management, Connex, Grid Enabled Scripts, Operation Services, and Endur Trade Process Management.
- Understanding of mature software architectures, software quality management, coding standards, and Microsoft Azure DevOps tools such as VSTS and Git.
- Ability to manage multiple delivery priorities and demand requests.
