Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize embedded C firmware for ARM-based microcontrollers.
  • Design, integrate, prototype, and validate Bluetooth Low Energy, LE Audio, Auracast, and 2.4 GHz wireless communication systems.
  • Conduct RF performance testing, antenna characterization, wireless subsystem architecture, and design trade-off analysis.
  • Explore BLE direction finding, AOA/AOD, channel sounding, and other localization technologies.
  • Implement real-time DSP, audio-processing, and machine-learning algorithms on resource-constrained embedded platforms.
  • Develop audio features including scene classification, noise reduction, beamforming, spatial audio processing, and packet loss concealment.
  • Optimize algorithms for power efficiency, latency, memory footprint, and audio quality.
  • Collaborate with universities, research institutes, industry consortia, and internal teams on research and technology transfer.
  • Contribute to research publications, technical reports, patents, intellectual property, and the innovation roadmap.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline; a relevant master’s or PhD degree is also stated.
  • Strong experience developing embedded software in C on ARM-based microcontrollers.
  • Experience with RTOS-based systems and embedded-system firmware implementation.
  • Solid understanding of Bluetooth Low Energy technologies and protocol stacks.
  • Good understanding of digital signal-processing fundamentals.
  • Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary research and engineering teams, with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with LE Audio, Auracast, Bluetooth audio streaming, RF engineering, antenna performance, 2.4 GHz wireless systems, or BLE direction finding and UWB.
  • Preferred experience deploying machine-learning or neural-network models on embedded devices and using Python for data analysis, prototyping, or test automation.
  • Preferred familiarity with Zephyr RTOS or similar embedded frameworks, Git, debugging tools, RF measurement equipment, and embedded development environments.
  • Experience in medical-device, healthcare, or regulated industries and Android mobile app development is advantageous.
