Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze engineering and business data to identify opportunities for AI/ML solutions.
- Develop core use-case functionality in code with guidance while progressing toward independent work.
- Design and implement procedures and workflows for AI/ML projects.
- Identify bottlenecks and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy solutions.
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and other project deliverables.
- Lead small AI/ML projects under the supervision of the enterprise AI/ML engineering team.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled as a junior or senior undergraduate or graduate student studying Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
- At least 2 years of Python programming experience.
- Understanding of AI/ML algorithms and experience with AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Proficiency with VS Code or other programming IDEs.
- Ability to quickly learn company-specific software, including Agentic AI, LangChain, LangGraph, Genie, Databricks, and Power BI.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, time-management, and documentation skills.
- Must be currently enrolled in school; applicants who have already graduated are not eligible.
- Must be able to temporarily relocate and work full-time from January through June or May/June through December 2027.

- Typical engineering intern pay is USD $29.00-$49.00 per hour, depending on education level, duties, requirements, and work location.
